Research visits to Brno University of Technology and Tampere University

Two members of AGH Signal Processing group, dr inż. Marcin Witkowski and mgr inż. Mateusz Guzik, spent 3 months over the summer on research visits to the esteemed international research groups. In both cases, these visits trigger new collaborations on speech and audio signal processing.

Dr inż. Marcin Witkowski visited Speech@FIT research group at Brno University of Technology in Czech Republic, where he worked on signal enhancement and separation for ASR. as one of the outcomes of this research, please see the paper presented at Interspeech workshop on the description of the systems for the CHiME-7 Challenge.

Mgr inż. Mateusz Guzik visited Audio Research Group at Tampere University in Finland, where he worked on acoustic scene modification in Ambisonic recordings.
